Match Day 2020: THANK YOU!

In the midst of uncertainty, neighbors in Muskegon have focused their energy, not on fear, but on walking together and caring for one another. As we walk, the web of our connected-ness and reciprocity is strengthened and we soon find ourselves moving with a sense of abundance over that of scarcity.

On the Community Foundation’s Match Day 2020, Community enCompass saw a ripple effect of generosity. An anonymous donor offered to match the Community Foundation’s match. Another neighbor incentivized her social media circle by offering baked goods to anyone who donated on Match Day. One of our staff even raised Match Day funds as part of her birthday celebration.

In total, Community enCompass received 142 DONATIONS from neighbors on Match Day!
