A New Neighbor in Angell.

We would like to welcome Roger Oliver as our new AmeriCorps Member with Angell Neighbors for Change, supporting the After School Center, in partnership with Allen Ave Church.  Roger is also a student at Baker College, studying videography.  
“My goal is to be a stable fixture in the lives of students at the After School Center through developing mentoring relationships.”   Roger will be working alongside the YEP Academic Coaches, high school teens who work in the After School Center, providing support to the elementary kids in math, science, reading and team building skills. The After School Center creates an environment that leaves an impact in the lives of the students by mentoring, direct connecting and tutoring our leaders of tomorrow.
