enCompass Programs Wishlist 2022!

Housing Wishlist: Mary Jamieson DPA Fund Contributions

Mary Jamieson believed in home ownership for all people, and used her real estate expertise to identify homes and help people with move-in, and even donated her commissions to our work in affordable housing. To celebrate Mary’s legacy, Community enCompass established the Mary Jamieson Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Fund. This Fund is available to families who are eligible to purchase one of our EACH Homes, and who are at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

The Mary Jamieson DPA Fund will pay down some of the mortgage on the front end, so that families have more favorable interest rates and lower monthly payments for their new home. Mary’s donated commissions from the last 10 years will act as the foundation for this fund.

For 2022, we are seeking contributions to this fund so that we can continue to make housing truly affordable for our neighbors.
